You can smooth out wrinkles and soften skin in portraits using a preset for Lightroom’s adjustment brush in the Develop module. The secret is using a gentle touch so you don’t overdo it, you want it to look natural and not get rid of every line and wrinkle. Lightroom’s pre-set is kind of heavy-handed, so in this tutorial I’ll show you some tweaks I make to the Clarity and Sharpness sliders for a more natural look. The best thing is it’s easy to do and you don’t have to mess with Gaussian blur and filters and layers in Photoshop. Watch the tutorial to see how it works.
