How to Create a Lightroom Import Preset

If you tend to apply the same basic settings, say to your landscape images, it can be a real time-saver to create and apply an Import Preset to your new images. This will give you a really good starting point, and then you can tweak them from there. This can be a huge time-saver — it will help speed up your workflow so you’re not repeating the same steps over and over. For instance, you can have a certain Camera Calibration setting applied to your imported images and/or lens correction and even tonal adjustments like contrast, shadows and highlights or saturation.
