Adobe Lightroom: Using the Radial Filter

The Radial Filter is a great tool for off-center vignetting or adding a subtle highlight to an area or multiple areas of your image. It offers you another way to adjust a selected part of your image. Like the graduated filter and adjustment brush, it’s a local adjustment. It’s often used to selectively brighten or darken portions of an image. It’s great for portraits when you want to highlight faces, and for darkening or adding saturation to the background of your image without affecting other parts. In this tutorial I’ll show you how to use the Radial Filter, how to reposition and enlarge it, invert the mask, make multiple filters and more.
