Adobe Lightroom: How to Customize Loupe View Overlay

When you’re in Loupe View of the Library Module, you can view information about your image in the overlay in the upper left hand corner. It will show you things like the file name, date, file type and various camera settings. This video shows you how to customize the Library View Options dialog box to set the options for image information and you can even select when you want to see it or whether you want to see it at all. This is a nice option because some people find it distracting, though there are times it’s quite useful to have the overlay available. I’ll also show you a shortcut for toggling through the displays.
